The Banana Feast

Poem 1: The Mischievous Monkey**
In the jungle, swinging high,
Lives a monkey, oh so spry!
With a tail that's long and curly,
He dances around, all in a whirl-y.
He steals bananas, one by one,
Playing tricks and having fun.
“Catch me if you can!” he shouts,
As he jumps and flips about.
2 Monkey See, Monkey Do*
Monkey see, monkey do,
Climbing trees and swinging too!
With a giggle and a grin,
He invites his friends to join in.
“Let’s play tag!” he calls with glee,
“Come and chase and swing with me!”
Round and round the branches go,
Through the leaves, they laugh and flow.
Poem 3: **The Banana Feast
In the morning, bright and clear,
The monkey wakes, it’s time to cheer!
Bananas ripe, hanging low,
Time for breakfast, let’s go, go, go!
He peels them quick, takes a bite,
“Oh, this banana is just right!”
With friends around, they munch and play,
A happy, sunny monkey day!
Poem 4: **Monkey's Jungle Gym*
Swinging high on vines so green,
The monkey’s king, he rules the scene.
With a leap and a bound, he climbs so fast,
In his jungle gym, he’s having a blast!
With a flip and a twist, he shows his flair,
“Come on, friends! Let’s swing in the air!”
Through the trees, they laugh and glide,
In the jungle, they play with pride.
Poem 5: **The Sleepy Monkey*
When the sun begins to set,
The monkey yawns, he’s not done yet!
But his eyes are heavy, his tail droops low,
Time to rest, the stars will glow.
He finds a branch, cozy and wide,
Snuggles in, with dreams to ride.
“Goodnight, jungle, I’ll see you soon,
Under the watchful, glowing moon!”
